New Account Director Financial Services: the global communications agency Edelman is strengthening its team in Germany by including an additional industrial expert. Tanja von Frowein (40) moved to Edelmann from HSBC Global Asset Management on 1 October 2019.
As Account Director Financial Services at Edelman, she will be advising clients in the financial sector on the planning and implementation of effective communications approaches. Edelman avails of a specialised Financial Services Team which concentrates on advising German and foreign financial institutes.
Tanja von Frowein avails of more than 20 years of industrial experience in various marketing and communication roles and has developed strategic communication and marketing concepts in both national and international financial companies. Based in Cologne, she works across locations on projects at all Edelman sites in Germany.

Tanja von Frowein worked at HSBC Global Asset Management for eight years, most recently in the Institutional and Wholesale Team in the area of Client Strategy. Other positions included employment at Robeco and Invesco Asset Management as well as at Deutsche Postbank AG.
Von Frowein studied economics at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (HfB) and at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. Parallel to that, she also passed the banking examination overseen by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and qualified as a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA).
