Mario Groß is Head of the D/A/CH region at Edelman Smithfield. The CIRO and CEFA/CIIA financial analyst not only brings many years of experience and numerous awards as an investment banker and press spokesman for companies, but also a remarkable track record in the implementation of investor and PR campaigns and in advising companies in crisis situations.
At Edelman Smithfield, his focus will be on expanding the already excellently positioned advisory services in the market, particularly in capital market-related but also cross-sector areas. In addition, he will bring even greater added value from the global offerings of Edelman and Edelman Smithfield to existing and new clients.
Before moving to the agency side, Groß was responsible for IR and PR at Corestate and the Adler Group. In the last two years, he built up and expanded the Frankfurt office of Kirchhoff Consult AG and headed the ‘Corporate Broking / Corporate Access Germany and Austria’ division at HSBC for more than a decade. During this time, he was voted first place five times in a row by institutional investors in the renowned Extel Ranking (today: Institutional Investor Ranking).
