As an expert in integrated political communication, corporate reputation, and corporate affairs, Bärbel has been advising companies and institutions on representing their interests in society and building trusting relationships with stakeholders for almost 20 years.
She has proven industry expertise in healthcare, food, energy, and tech, and has worked with national and international governmental organisations and NGOs.
As an expert in integrated corporate campaigning, Bärbel has been responsible for numerous award-winning communications campaigns in the past.
Before joining Edelman, Bärbel headed the public affairs business of Burson Cohn & Wolfe (BCW) and previously worked in various leadership roles for the Weber Shandwick agency. She studied philosophy and literature in Münster, Rome and Berlin.
